AI-written omnichannel outreach across email, SMS, WhatsApp and voice, sent only from a Sendblox subdomain

ToolsGavel verdict

Sendblox's pitch, an AI agent that researches each contact and writes personalized messages across email, SMS, WhatsApp and voice in one sequence, is genuinely different from the rest of the cold email field. But the product can't yet do the one thing a cold email tool has to do well for most buyers: send from a mailbox or domain you control. Everything goes out from a Sendblox subdomain, and connecting your own domain is reserved for enterprise clients, not the $299-999/mo plans most teams would actually buy. Pair that with a recent pricing mix-up between the app and the live site (Sendblox says it's fixed now) and zero independent reviews anywhere, and this still reads like an early-stage product. Worth a look in the free workspace out of curiosity. Not worth a paid plan yet for anything that touches real deliverability.

Best for: Teams curious about AI-agent-driven, multichannel outreach who are fine testing on a free workspace before any real money or domain reputation is on the line

What we liked

  • One sequence builder runs email, SMS, WhatsApp and AI voice calls natively, not stitched together through a third-party integration (Sendblox app; sendblox.ai)
  • The free workspace needs no credit card: 1,000 email sends, 3 campaigns and 1 data source to try before paying anything (Sendblox app)
  • HubSpot, Google Drive/Sheets, Capsule CRM, Airtable, MS Dynamics and ClickUp CRM all connect today, with Salesforce, Monday.com, Pipedrive and Zoho CRM listed as coming soon (Sendblox app)
  • Ships its own MCP server for agent-driven campaign control, something none of the other cold email tools we've reviewed advertise (glama.ai MCP connector listing)

What to watch

  • There's no way to connect your own Gmail, Outlook or SMTP mailbox on any plan. Every campaign sends from a Sendblox subdomain (your-workspace.sendblox.io), unlike Instantly, Smartlead and Saleshandy, which all send from mailboxes you own (Sendblox app)
  • Sending from your own domain is an enterprise-only feature. Sendblox says it's withholding it from Starter, Growth and Scale plans while it tests further, and frames the subdomain default as protecting your domain's sending reputation. For most cold email programs, sending from a domain you control is what deliverability depends on, so regular-plan customers don't get it (Sendblox, Nov 2026)
  • Starter's $299/mo entry price is confirmed on the live pricing page, well above the free-to-cheap tier most cold email buyers start at. The in-app checkout showed $39/mo for the same plan earlier this month; Sendblox says that was a billing sync bug it has since fixed, but we haven't re-tested checkout ourselves
  • No listing on G2, Capterra, Trustpilot or Product Hunt, and no mentions found on Reddit or X as of November 2026. Sendblox says it has submitted to review sites and is awaiting listings, and has run a couple of case studies, but none of that is published or verified independently yet

What Sendblox is for

Sendblox says its AI agent researches each contact, pulling from CRM records, company sites and recent news, and then writes a personalized message per recipient. The same sequence can mix email, SMS, WhatsApp and AI voice calls, which makes it one of the few tools in this category that treats channels other than email as first-class citizens rather than a bolted-on add-on. In a free workspace, the builder works roughly as advertised: pick a template per channel, connect a data source, and the sequence spans whichever channels you’ve activated.

Connecting a CRM is straightforward today for HubSpot, Google Drive/Sheets, Capsule CRM, Airtable and MS Dynamics. Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and Monday.com are all listed as coming soon, so anyone running one of those will wait.

The deliverability problem

Cold email lives or dies on sending reputation, and this is where Sendblox falls short of its competitors. A new workspace gets a Sendblox subdomain by default, something like your-workspace.sendblox.io, and campaign mail goes out from that address. Connecting your own domain exists, but only for enterprise clients. Sendblox told us it’s holding the feature back from Starter, Growth and Scale plans until it’s tested further, and that the subdomain default is deliberate: it lets people send at scale without putting their own domain’s reputation at risk.

That’s a reasonable rationale, but it doesn’t change the practical outcome for most buyers. For most cold email programs, sending from a domain you control is what deliverability actually depends on, and that’s exactly what regular Sendblox plans don’t offer. There’s also no option anywhere, on any plan, to connect a Gmail, Outlook or SMTP mailbox you already own. Instantly, Smartlead and Saleshandy all build around sending from mailboxes you control, with rotation across multiple addresses to protect domain reputation. Sendblox doesn’t offer that path at all.

Replies are one-way by default, too. You’ll need to add a reply-to address manually if you want to actually hear back from anyone you email.

A pricing mix-up, now reportedly fixed

The pricing page at sendblox.ai/pricing lists Starter at $299/mo, Growth at $499/mo and Scale at $999/mo, each with a published monthly send limit (5,000, 25,000 and 100,000 emails respectively). Annual billing runs 10x the monthly rate on every tier, which works out to roughly 17% cheaper than paying month to month.

Earlier in November 2026, the pricing screen inside the actual app showed the same three plan names at $39/mo, $99/mo and $249/mo, a gap of roughly 7 to 8 times against the public page. We flagged this in our original review. Sendblox founder Jonathan Boice told us the in-app numbers were wrong: a Stripe billing sync issue had the app showing outdated prices, and the company has since fixed it. We haven’t gone back through checkout ourselves to confirm the fix, so treat the $299/$499/$999 figures as what the public page currently shows, and verify your own price at signup before entering a card.

Who should use it, and who should skip it

Sendblox fits someone curious about AI-written, multichannel sequencing who wants to kick the tires without spending anything, since the free workspace requires no card. It also suits anyone specifically shopping for a single tool that runs email, SMS, WhatsApp and voice together, a combination most competitors don’t offer natively.

Skip it if sending from your own domain matters to you today, which for most cold email programs it should; that’s an enterprise-only feature here. Skip it too if you want a tool with any outside track record: there’s no listing on G2, Capterra, Trustpilot or Product Hunt, and no visible chatter on Reddit or X. Sendblox says it has applied for those listings and run a couple of case studies, but none of that is published or independently verified yet, so every performance claim here still comes from the company itself. For a mailbox-first alternative with warmup built around domains you control, see our Instantly and Saleshandy reviews, or the full cold email software guide for how the category stacks up.

Pricing note: The free workspace gives 1,000 email sends total, 3 campaigns, 1,000 contacts and 1 data source, no card required. Paid plans, confirmed live at sendblox.ai/pricing, are Starter at $299/mo (5,000 emails/month), Growth at $499/mo (25,000 emails/month) and Scale at $999/mo (100,000 emails/month), each adding more campaigns, data sources, sending addresses and seats as you go up. Annual billing runs 10x the monthly rate on every tier, roughly 17% cheaper than paying monthly. Earlier in November, the pricing screen inside the app showed the same three plans at $39/mo, $99/mo and $249/mo. Sendblox told us that was a Stripe billing sync bug and says it's now fixed; we haven't re-tested checkout ourselves, so confirm what you're charged before you commit.

Can I send from my own Gmail or Outlook inbox with Sendblox?

No, not on any plan. Every workspace sends from a Sendblox subdomain by default. Sendblox says connecting your own domain is available to enterprise clients, but it's withheld from Starter, Growth and Scale plans while the company keeps testing it. There's currently no way to connect a Gmail, Outlook or SMTP mailbox at all, on any plan.

Does Sendblox have a free plan?

Yes. The free workspace allows 1,000 total email sends, 3 campaigns and 1,000 contacts with no credit card required. It's useful for testing the sequence builder and AI agent before any paid commitment.

Are there reviews of Sendblox on G2 or Trustpilot?

No. As of November 2026, Sendblox has no listing on G2, Capterra, Trustpilot or Product Hunt, and no visible mentions on Reddit or X. Sendblox says it has applied to be listed on review sites and has run a couple of case studies, but none of that has been published or verified by anyone outside the company yet.
