ToolsGavel verdict

Bouncer's pay-as-you-go verification pricing is the cheapest, most transparent entry point we found for this job, and both G2 (4.8 from 339 reviews) and Capterra (4.9 from 278) back it with real review volume, not a thin sample. The bundled Deliverability Kit gives it a credible second product without adding a second vendor relationship. Price is the complaint reviewers raise most, and a small minority report verification issues, and Trustpilot's score is too thin a sample, just 2 reviews, to weigh either way.

What we liked

  • Cheapest, most transparent entry price for list verification we found in this category: $8 for 1,000 credits with no subscription required, a discounted monthly plan if your volume is steady, and credits that never expire (usebouncer.com/pricing)
  • Strong third-party scores back it up: G2 rates it 4.8 out of 5 from 339 reviews, with ease of use the most-cited strength, and Capterra rates it 4.9 out of 5 from 278 reviews (G2, Capterra)
  • A documented 60-day data-retention policy with on-demand permanent deletion, hosted in EU data centers, a real trust signal for a tool that handles a full contact list (usebouncer.com/gdpr)
  • Also sells a standalone Deliverability Kit covering inbox placement, blacklist, SPF/DKIM and DMARC testing from $25/mo, a lower entry price than GlockApps's comparable $59/mo Essential plan, though with fewer tests included (usebouncer.com/pricing)
  • 100 free verification credits with no credit card required to start (usebouncer.com/pricing)

What to watch

  • Price is the most-tagged complaint on G2 (15 reviews), with G2's review summary noting some users find it relatively expensive compared to other options, despite the low entry price (G2)
  • Verification issues are the second most-tagged complaint on G2 (13 reviews), a small share of 339 but worth testing with your own list on the 100 free credits (G2)
  • Trustpilot's 3.4 out of 5 score comes from only 2 reviews, both three-star. That's too thin a sample to judge the product by, but a buyer who checks Trustpilot first will land on a page that looks unfinished (Trustpilot)
  • Bouncer Shield's 50,000- and 150,000-check monthly tiers didn't load a price in our check; confirm the real cost before buying that specific product if you need that volume (usebouncer.com/pricing)

Bouncer checks an email list for invalid, risky and role-based addresses before you send to it, and sells that core verification product two ways: pay-as-you-go credit packs, or a monthly plan with the same credits delivered each month at a discount. Pricing starts at $8 for 1,000 verification credits, no subscription is required, and credits never expire. Bouncer also sells two side products billed separately from those credits: a Deliverability Kit (inbox placement and blacklist/DMARC testing, from $25/mo) and Bouncer Shield (a real-time signup-form verification widget, from $2/mo). G2 rates it 4.8 out of 5 from 339 reviews, and Capterra rates it 4.9 out of 5 from 278 reviews, as of November 2026.

What Bouncer is for

Verification is the first step in a deliverability stack, not the whole job. Upload or API-connect a list, and Bouncer flags hard bounces, disposable domains, role-based addresses (info@, support@) and spam traps before a single message goes out, so a sender’s reputation never takes a hit from mailing a dirty list in the first place. Bouncer states it won’t bill for duplicate addresses or for results it can’t classify, which keeps the real cost closer to the advertised per-credit rate.

Once a list is clean, the next two jobs, warming up a new inbox or domain and testing where mail actually lands, sit outside Bouncer’s core product. Warmy.io and MailReach handle the first; GlockApps and Bouncer’s own Deliverability Kit handle the second. See Best Email Deliverability and Inbox Warm-up Tools for how the four fit together.

Every Deliverability Kit tier includes inbox placement tests, blacklist tests, SPF/DKIM tests, a DMARC test and a SpamAssassin test. It’s Bouncer’s own answer to GlockApps’s Inbox Insight and DMARC Analytics, at a lower entry price but a narrower test allotment at the Starter tier.

What users say in reviews

G2 and Capterra both put Bouncer comfortably above 4.5 out of 5, with reviewers calling out verification accuracy, transparent pricing, a fast API and “refreshingly simple” setup even for first-time users. G2’s own tally of pros and cons puts ease of use at the top of the strengths. On the other side, “expensive” is the most-tagged con (15 reviews), and G2’s summary notes that some users find it relatively expensive compared to other options. Verification issues come next (13 reviews), a small share of 339, but a good reason to run your own list through the 100 free credits first. A few reviewers also mention that the web interface looks a little dated, but that’s an occasional aside, not a pattern.

Trustpilot tells a different, much smaller story: 3.4 out of 5 from only 2 reviews, both three-star. One reviewer wrote, “yes service is good but i do not know sometimes does not work.” The second describes trouble reaching support about a security matter. Trustpilot itself notes the company hasn’t invited customers to leave reviews there, which lines up with the thin count. Weigh G2’s 339 and Capterra’s 278 far more heavily than this page.

Who should skip it

Skip Bouncer if you want one vendor to handle verification, warm-up and placement testing under a single login; it covers verification well and placement testing adequately through the Deliverability Kit, but has no warm-up product at all, so you’ll still need Warmy.io or MailReach alongside it. Skip it too if per-email price is the deciding factor for you; cost is the complaint reviewers raise most. For the full side-by-side on pricing and what each tool covers, see Best Email Deliverability and Inbox Warm-up Tools.

Pricing note: Bouncer sells three separate products, each priced its own way. Email Verification, the flagship product, comes two ways. Pay-as-you-go: 1,000 credits cost $8 ($0.008 each), 5,000 cost $35, 10,000 cost $60, 50,000 cost $250, 100,000 cost $400, 250,000 cost $750, 500,000 cost $1,250, and 1,000,000 cost $2,000. Teams with steady volume can instead take a monthly subscription that delivers the same number of credits every month at a discount to the pay-as-you-go price. Credits never expire on either option. Bouncer states on its pricing page that it never charges for duplicate addresses within a list or for results it can't classify as valid or invalid, though that claim wasn't independently tested against a real list for this review. New accounts get 100 free verification credits with no credit card required. A second product, the Deliverability Kit, is a monthly subscription bundling inbox placement, IP and domain blacklist, SPF/DKIM, DMARC and SpamAssassin testing: Starter runs $25/mo for 250 tests and 10 monitored IPs or domains, Standard $125/mo for 1,000 tests, Pro $250/mo for 2,500 tests, and a custom Enterprise tier for unlimited testing. A third product, Bouncer Shield, is a real-time signup-form verification widget priced separately, from $2/mo for 1,000 monthly checks up to $1,050/mo for 1,000,000 checks; its 50,000- and 150,000-check tiers didn't display a price in our last check, so confirm those live if you need that volume. Bouncer's own GDPR page states uploaded lists are erased after 60 days, with permanent deletion available on request.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Bouncer cost?

It depends which of Bouncer's three products you need. Email Verification is sold as pay-as-you-go credits, $8 for 1,000 down to $0.002 each at 1,000,000, or as a monthly plan that delivers the same credits each month at a discount. Credits never expire either way. The Deliverability Kit, a separate monthly subscription for inbox placement, blacklist, SPF/DKIM and DMARC testing, runs $25/mo for 250 tests up to $250/mo for 2,500, plus a custom Enterprise tier. Bouncer Shield, a signup-form verification widget, starts at $2/mo for 1,000 monthly checks.

Does Bouncer require a credit card to try it?

Not for the core verification product. New accounts get 100 free verification credits with no card required. The Deliverability Kit subscription and Bouncer Shield widget both require payment to activate, since neither has a free allotment of its own.

What's the difference between Bouncer's Verification product and its Deliverability Kit?

Verification checks a list of addresses you already have and flags invalid, risky or role-based ones before you send to it, billed per credit, pay-as-you-go or monthly, with no expiry. The Deliverability Kit is a different job entirely: it tests where your mail lands once you do send, and monitors blacklist status, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and SpamAssassin results over time, billed as a monthly subscription.

How does Bouncer compare to GlockApps?

They solve different jobs by default. Bouncer's core product checks a list before you send; GlockApps tests where mail lands after you send and monitors DMARC reports and blacklist status going forward. Bouncer's Deliverability Kit covers some of the same ground as GlockApps starting at a lower price, $25/mo versus GlockApps's $59/mo Essential plan, but with fewer tests included and a narrower feature set. See Best Email Deliverability and Inbox Warm-up Tools for the full comparison.

Is Bouncer's Trustpilot score trustworthy?

Not on its own. The 3.4 out of 5 score is based on only 2 reviews, far too small a sample to draw a conclusion from. G2's 339 reviews and Capterra's 278 are the more reliable read, and both put Bouncer well above 4.5 out of 5.

Bottom line

Bouncer's pay-as-you-go verification pricing is the cheapest, most transparent entry point we found for this job, and both G2 (4.8 from 339 reviews) and Capterra (4.9 from 278) back it with real review volume, not a thin sample. The bundled Deliverability Kit gives it a credible second product without adding a second vendor relationship. Price is the complaint reviewers raise most, and a small minority report verification issues, and Trustpilot's score is too thin a sample, just 2 reviews, to weigh either way.
