Firecrawl cut concurrent requests on paid plans, at the same price
Published
Between August 4 and August 31, 2026, Firecrawl halved concurrent requests on Standard (50 to 25) and Growth (100 to 50) and cut Scale from 150 to 100, without changing the price. Credits per plan stayed the same. Free (2) and Hobby (5) didn't change.
| What changed | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Standard, $83/mo billed yearly ($99 monthly), 100,000 credits | 50 concurrent requests | 25 concurrent requests |
| Growth, $333/mo billed yearly ($399 monthly), 500,000 credits | 100 concurrent requests | 50 concurrent requests |
| Scale, $599/mo billed yearly ($749 monthly), 1,000,000 credits | 150 concurrent requests | 100 concurrent requests |
| Free and Hobby ($16/mo yearly) | 2 and 5 concurrent requests | Unchanged |
What changed
The prices and the monthly credits didn’t move. The number of requests Firecrawl lets you run at the same time did. The August 4 archive of the pricing page lists 50, 100 and 150 concurrent requests on Standard, Growth and Scale. The August 31 archive lists 25, 50 and 100 for the same three plans at the same prices. The live page still shows the lower numbers as of November 6.
Who feels it
Credits decide how many pages you can scrape in a month. Concurrency decides how fast you get through them. A Standard customer scraping 100,000 pages a month still gets 100,000 pages, but a large crawl now runs in roughly twice as many rounds. That matters if your jobs run on a schedule or someone is waiting on the results.
If you need 50 concurrent requests, the cheapest plan that gives you that is now Growth at $333/mo billed yearly. In early August, Standard at $83/mo did.
What to do
- If you’re already on Standard or Growth, look at how long your crawls take. A job that used to finish inside its window may not now.
- If you’re choosing a plan, compare on concurrency as well as credits. The price per credit didn’t change, but the price per concurrent slot doubled on Standard and Growth.
- Enterprise is still custom and lets you negotiate concurrency.
Our Firecrawl review has the full plan breakdown, including how credits are counted for search, browser actions and extract.
